A Mia: Polished

This time last week I had ten perfectly shaped, french tipped nails.

Now I have 7 perfectly shaped finger nails - and no french tips, just a layer of clear polish.

My toes are always well take care of, after all when you
have a nice little toe ring to wear it seems only right!!

I have pedicures frequently, but fingers well thats where things get a bit tricky. I can't go about my daily life and keep my nails intact. I never bite them, they are always nicely shaped and of a resonable length but when I have polish on them it seems to be just an invitation to pop open a tab on a soda can! And I am NOT a chipped polish sort of woman. So I mostly stick with the clear polish. Why am I even mentioning this? Because someone has just sent me a voucher for a manicure as a present. I'd love to use it, but will save it for a week when I can plan to sit around and admire my nails for a while rather than actually do any work!

And no, trailing a nail gently across someones skin does NOT count as work!! ~grin~
